Summer in the City

It was 81F (27C) in Minneapolis today, this is pretty amazing for the end of March, especially considering that just a few weeks ago we were in Sub-Arctic temperatures.

One of the things about Minnesota is that as soon at it is above freezing, they all go out in shorts and start barbecuing. Last weekend it was about 40F (4C) and I swear I could smell charcoal burning.

Well it's not quite that cold here but we did have our first barbecue a couple of weekends ago.

Bring on the summer.

I've just come back from a week in Warsaw and Vienna where the weather was very nice, not the usual gray cloudy misery. Warsaw aint half a bad city. More cosmopolitan then you'd expect. More friendly then Vienna, who are the most grumpiest people outside of Braintree i think.
